Testimonials & Endorsements

Bob Marsenich has been a tremendous help to our company in the HR Department. In early 2017, I contacted Bob to do a series of leadership and management training classes with our managers. These classes have been pretty successful both in developing personnel management practices and in helping create a much more positive and upbeat atmosphere at our company. Bob brings a wealth of knowledge to these leadership trainings both from his own studies and training on the subject, but also from his own job experiences and real cases he has worked through in his career. Secondly, we use Bob both directly and indirectly to help us resolve HR issues and personnel conflicts between our employees. Again, his depth of knowledge and experience brings a whole new level of tools and techniques to our processes. Bob assumes a “positive intent” outcome for all parties concerned and works with great patience and empathy to help parties reach an understanding and a solution. At the same time Bob holds all of the parties accountable not only for their actions and contributions to the cause of the problem, but he also makes each party accountable to come up with a solution or solutions. Finally, Bob has worked extensively with us to enhance our employee handbook and several of our internal company policies. Through his knowledge of labor laws, discrimination cases, drug policies, etc, we have been able to bolster, strengthen and in some cases, eliminate potential erroneous policies in our company. We are very pleased with the performance and results we get from Bob. We will continue to use Bob as a consultant and instructor on a regular basis. I would highly recommend Bob to anyone looking for help with HR issues and/or leadership and management development.

  • The initiative exercise is now way more robust and meaningful and will give us a springboard for a goal of moving up the initiative scale in 2017 and we can easily table it and pick it back up in one-on-one meetings.

A COO’s Response to Help Planning a Retreat for Executives and Supervisors (The They is the supervisors I had been working with to develop Leadership Skills)

  • Since last summer, I’ve been helping Bob to focus and refine his executive leadership training program. What I’ve come to admire is his ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organization, from those in boots and coveralls to their bosses in pressed shirts or blouses.  He’s a great listener and life coach, and when working with individuals or small groups, he stresses the importance of composure and self-awareness to successful interpersonal relationships (both at work and at home).  Bob believes that the higher up the corporate ladder a person looks or rises, the more important it is to the organization that its people possess strong interpersonal skills.  In his recent work with senior managers and corporate executives, Bob strives to create a safe space for self-evaluation and reflection, sometimes using teachings of esoteric philosophers, as well as humor, to reveal each person’s core attitudes and beliefs, and thereby to help them become more compassionate and effective listeners, co-workers, bosses, partners, etc. I’ve known Bob for almost 40 years, and I’m confident that he’s got the knowledge, practical skills, and temperament to inspire the next generation of movers and shakers at many levels in today’s complex workplaces.  Bob’s unconventional background and experience are assets, not liabilities.  He’s an honest, funny, and thought-provoking speaker/raconteur who can convey powerful truths with wit, charm, and self-deprecation.

  • Hey, I wanted to add that even though the survey may not show 100% perfect -- I think we have all figured out how we need to communicate with each other, while it may still be tough sometimes we continue to push each other to open up and listen and CALL instead of email to get a faster resolution to issues that come up.
