The Three C’s for Goal Setting

In order to get where you want, you need to set your course.  There are THREE C’s to goal setting.

Make your goals CHALLENGING, but not so painful that you lose the joy of living.

Make sure the challenge carries some COMFORT.  You want to enjoy both the process of getting to your goal and the completion of it.  You also want to make sure the goal stretches you but doesn’t break you.

Once you have defined a goal that is challenging and comfortable, make a COMMITMENT to yourself to use all of your energy, abilities, and potentials to meet the goal.
