Executive and Leadership Coaching

Through on-site and telephone/virtual coaching sessions, interviews, observations, and other 360-degree feedback processes, this service is designed to get results that training may not. The coaching happens in the work environment with real situations. We work with leaders to help them identify strengths and development opportunities. Key business indicators are identified and verified. Follow-up action plans are developed to measure results. Leaders need to be compassionate, and they need to make tough decisions. Overview

Tired of sending supervisors and managers to one- and two-day seminars with no results? Then it is time for Glacier HR Services’ Leadership Coaching Program.

Through a process of 360-degree feedback instruments and interviews, participants develop an action plan which outlines performance results in key performance areas, specific changes in leadership and interpersonal style, and development areas for increased effectiveness.

More important, participants are held accountable to successfully implement their action plan. The program can last anywhere from 3 to 24 months. The key, however, is that the program is tailored specifically to each person’s development needs.

The consultant works with everyone in his or her real environment so the needed changes anchor there. Instead of a one-time workshop or even a series of workshops, Executive & Leadership Coaching uses a long-term process to increase manager and executive effectiveness. Imagine having every training session tailored to the individual’s strengths and development needs. Then imagine enhancing those strengths and correcting the development areas to achieve greater results in key performance areas. Imagine further that this is a job requirement.

The Executive & Leadership Coaching process does exactly this. Through 360-degree feedback, discussions, dialog, small group sessions, practice, role plays, case studies, and application, each participant develops an action plan to increase results in key performance areas. Then participants receive one on one coaching on an ongoing basic to facilitate accountability and results.

The program can be structured to your needs and culture. For example, people can participate in a daylong training session and then follow-up coaching can be conducted in one on one, on-site sessions, and more follow-up can be provided through telephone and virtual calls. These sessions are designed to get participants to take responsibility for implementing their development plans. We work closely with participant’s managers and these managers are integral to the process. They are taught to transfer the coaching process to performance discussions and documentation. Leadership Coaching participants are held accountable to results and a foundation of documentation is laid for future personnel decisions.
