Conflict & Toxic Situations


Much of the training and consulting we perform is in situations that are toxic and humans are in conflict with each other.  Many times it is a matter of understanding perceptions and the skill levels people have.

Once we know this we teach people how to manage conflict in productive ways.  We have also participated in enough toxic situations that we can tell you when it is time to cut your losses.  Yes, sometime there is no changing the situation or one or two of the people involved.

These situations always make the manager’s job harder because no one likes to deal with the intense emotions.  We can serve as a buffer and help managers step through these difficult and stressful situations.  Because we don’t “live” in the situation, we can use strategies that the manager may not be able to.
